千年菩提树

春夏秋冬 岁月不停留
千年菩提树还依旧
很久以前释迦牟尼佛
在此树下证得无上果

菩提叶儿青
菩提根儿深
种下智慧菩提果

珍贵的菩提种子撒向娑婆
明白善恶出自因果

离婆离婆帝 求诃求诃帝
陀罗尼帝 尼诃啰帝
毗黎你帝 摩诃伽帝
真陵千帝 娑婆诃

春夏秋冬 岁月不停留
菩提树儿还依旧
世尊佛陀等你好久
修行的人儿
修正的人儿
修心的人们啊
此生莫错过

The Great Bodhi Tree

In the passage of time,
so impermanent is our life.
Yet, the Bodhi Tree remains on this earth.
Many years ago, Shakyamuni Buddha
gained enlightenment under this tree.

The Bodhi leaves evergreen,
the roots ever so deep,
protects the wisdom seed for
Buddhahood.

Dear Buddha, through you, may all
realise the cause and effects behind
good and bad deeds in Samsara.

The Bodhi leaves still remain till today.
The past Buddhas are waiting for the 
day to come -
the holy community,
the repentant ones and
the practitioners,
please treasure this precious human
body in this life for enlightenment.
